Ooh! Aah!
Before & After

Living Room Updated
Our clients moved back into their house in Asheville after being away for an extended period of time. Wanting an "updated look" in their Living Room, they called Ooh! Aah! for a consultation.
We were able to relocate the existing Living Room furniture to the large Master Bedroom sitting area. Next, the rugs for the Living Room and Dining Room were chosen.
All the other furnishings, window treatments and accessories were selected as complimentary pieces.

Sofa Inspires Design in Empty Room
Faced with an empty room, we used the Maitland-Smith sofa as our inspiration and starting point. The other pieces (rug, sideboard and accessories) were chosen to compliment the sofa and wood floors. Careful attention was given to achieve balance in this room by repeating similar tones of red, black and yellow. The square footage is modest but the ceiling height required larger scale furnishings.

The Old World Feeling
Our client's desire was for an old world feeling throughout the home. It was important that the rooms flow smoothly from one to the other, both visually and practically. The area rug and an iron/stone console table were moved to the Dining Room and became our inspiration pieces.
We were able to select wallpaper and paint to marry the newly relocated furnishings with the existing window treatments and china cabinet. The new dining room table and custom chairs under the existing chandelier were chosen to complete the room...mission accomplished and Ooh! Aah time!

Formal Living Room transformed into Family Music Room
A seldom used formal living room becomes a much used and loved music room. The stately leather and fabric chairs were borrowed from the family room, now for reading and listening to music. The former dining room buffet can now function as a bar during family gatherings and parties.

Pre-Teen Bedroom goes Tropical
Our pre-teen client wanted a room with a tropical feel. She chose the bedding and we did the rest. We added colorful accessories, custom artwork -- including a fun portrait -- and really brought this room to life.

Contemporary Rental Condo
This 800 sq.ft. condo is located in the heart of downtown Asheville. Repainting the orange ceiling and trim was a must. Our client wanted a space leaning toward contemporary but maintaining a warm and inviting feeling for guests renting the space. Her photography and is showcased throughout. See more photos of this condo on their website.
